Clinton's broad exposure to structural design includes mixed-use residential / commercial buildings, telecommunication facilities, schools, and low to high-rise office buildings. He has also worked on a myriad of smaller unique projects including signage support systems and seismic bracing of large freestanding landscape rock features. Clinton holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa is also a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). Clinton has been published in ACI Journals and AISC’s Modern Steel Construction Magazine. He also co-authored “Structural Guidelines for Detailing of Cold-Formed Steel Framing to Resist Wind Loads” (First Edition) distributed by the Structural Engineers Association of Hawaii
Randall S. Toma,
P.E., S.E. Randall’s diverse experience in structures includes residential structures, low to mid-rise commercial buildings, mixed-use projects, and large assembly halls with theaters and parking garages. Randall’s unique project experience includes cladding support systems, long span truss design, and multi-story seismic retrofits. Randall holds a Master’s Degree from Washington University in St. Louis and is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). Randall also is an adjunct professor teaching a structures class with the University of Oregon Portland School of Urban Architecture. Randall has co-authored articles in Civil Engineering magazine and AISC’s Modern Steel Construction. Randall is also registered with ATC-20 as a post-earthquake inspector/engineer.
